O&M crews are doing their annual cleanouts in our channels. This is part of the NPDES program (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System).
An inspection by the O&M crews determined that a cleanout was needed for Oxnard West Channel.
Staff is currently doing a cleanout and taking out all the trash, debris, and growth from the channel.
