Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Professional Services for Countywide Non-NBI Bridge Inspections
The Ventura County Public Works Agency – Roads & Transportation department (PWA-RT) is seeking a qualified firm to conduct updated inspections of the County’s 79 non-National Bridge Inventory (non-NBI) bridges, which have not been evaluated since 2011. These inspections are necessary to assess current bridge conditions, identify potential safety or maintenance issues, and update the County’s bridge asset records.
Copies of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) can be obtained by downloading from the Roads and Transportation website. Proposers may submit questions via email to christopher.solis@venturacounty.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. by October 31, 2025. All requests for information and answers will be posted on the County’s website. It is the responsibility of the proposer to monitor the website for updates.
The RFQ includes a description of the services to be provided, contents of the responses and the factors used to evaluate the responses. The County reserves the right to change the solicitation schedule or issue amendments to the solicitation at any time. The County reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive immaterial irregularities contained in the solicitation. The County reserves the right to refrain from contracting with any respondent.
All responses to the RFQ must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on November 14, 2025.
